Warhol’s West at The James Museum/ Dec 2, 2021 / $88.00 p/p

 

 

Experience the visual stories and rich heritage of the American West at The James Museum in downtown St. Petersburg. You’ll not only enjoy the permanent collection, but on special exhibition is ‘Warhol’s West.’

 

Warhol’s West explores Pop artist Andy Warhol’s fascination with the American West.  The exhibition presents a wide range of Western imagery and more by Warhol, including his last major suite ‘Cowboys and Indians’ (1986). Famous faces in the series include Geronimo, Annie Oakley, Sitting Bull and Theodore Roosevelt.

 

You’ll explore highlights of the collection with a knowledgeable docent and be provided with a 60 minute overview of the museum. You’ll then have time to browse the museum on your own with a visit to the gift shop if you’d like.

 

We then transport you to the Parkshore Grill, voted “Best St. Petersburg Overall Restaurants” by Open Table and Beach Drive’s most awarded restaurant where you’ll enjoy a fabulous lunch.

 

You’ll then have time to walk off lunch along world famous Beach Drive overlooking the beautiful Banyan trees at North Straub Park and mosey the shops.

On the day of your trip we have several Pick-Up Locations throughout Manatee, Sarasota & Charlotte Counties for you to drive to and park your car.  We will pick you up at one of these locations and drop you back off there when your tour has ended. You can pick the location that is most convenient for you.

 

Pick-Up and Drop-Off times Vary based on your destination and we will give you those times when you call to book your fun All Around tour!
