Caladium Festival & Field Tour / July 25, 2025 / $60.00 p/p

Join us as we travel to Lake Placid for the 34th Annual Caladium Festival. We will start the day with a short video and then a local Caladium grower will join us as a step on guide to give us a tour of the Caladium fields surrounding Lake Placid.

We will then attend the actual festival where you can purchase your own Caladiums to bring home and plant as we have plenty of room on the motor coach to carry them home for you!

You’ll also find plenty to eat and drink at the festival or in one of the local restaurants before boarding the bus to come back home.

For those that are not familiar with Caladiums, they are a colorful plant that thrives in our hot climate. They can be planted from bulbs or started plants. Put them in the ground or in pots or raised beds and you will get permanent color all summer long and into the fall.

The following two photos are taken right here in our area and represent a variety of Caladium Bulbs that were planted just a few weeks ago!

On the day of your trip we have several Pick-Up Locations throughout Manatee, Sarasota & Charlotte Counties for you to drive to and park your car.  We will pick you up at one of these locations and drop you back off there when your tour has ended. You can pick the location that is most convenient for you.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off times Vary based on your destination and we will give you those times when you call to book your fun All Around tour!
