We usually have a one day visit to Calaway Gardens at Christmas Time to see their Holiday Lights Show, but for the first time ever we are going to do a multi-way trip during the Spring Bloom so you can see the Gardens in all their splendor!

Callaway Resort & Gardens offers escape from the everyday with adventure, relaxation, and fun in Mother Nature’s breathtaking landscape. Take in the vibrant azalea blossoms of Spring exploring 2,500 spectacular acres, filled with hiking and bike trails.

There is so much to do at Callaway Garden’s it is almost unbelievable. Of course, Callaway Gardens has astounding gardens. Overlook Garden was was planted under the leadership of Cason and Virginia Callaway. There are more than 700 varieties of azaleas planted here. 

There is the 40-acre garden called Callaway Brother’s Azalea Bowl with more than 3,400 hybrid azaleas plus an additional 2,000 trees and shrubs. This garden also has a pavilion, gazebo, stream, and arched bridge to help you unwind and take in the beauty of your surroundings.

We will be visiting Biblical History Center where a walk through the archaeological replica garden where full-scale reconstructions of structures relevant to daily life in Biblical times bring history to life.  Four areas of ancient life are represented in the Archaeological Replica Garden:  Life of the Shepherd, Life of the Farmer, Life of the Village, and Roman Theater and Market Street.  Your guided tour will leave you with a new understanding of life in Old and New Testament times!

Dinner will also be included at the History Center. The Biblical Meal is a four-course meal consisting of 15 different food items including soup, salad, fruit, main course, dessert, and all beverages (grape juice or water).  Your guide will explain ancient meal practices including Passover and the Last Supper, and the setting of the table for reconciliation.  All of this will be done in a 1st century-style dining room at triclinium-esque tables.

On the day of your trip we have several Pick-Up Locations throughout Manatee, Sarasota & Charlotte Counties for you to drive to and park your car.  We will pick you up at one of these locations and drop you back off there when your tour has ended. You can pick the location that is most convenient for you.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off times Vary based on your destination and we will give you those times when you call to book your fun All Around tour!
