Experience thousands of lights, hundreds of historic decorations, and a very unique holiday experience at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates as they celebrate its 50th season of Holiday Nights!
We will arrive at the Estates in the evening, after a dinner stop, in order to enjoy all the brilliant lights. Once at the Estates, enthusiastic historians will lead your group in an immersive tour of the extravagantly decorated historic homes and gardens of the Edison and Ford families. You will enjoy a dazzling display of Christmas lights and decorations covering the gardens and estates. This is a much anticipated holiday tradition in Southwest Florida and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
In 1878, Thomas Edison began the difficult process of perfecting the electric light bulb. Just two years later, during the Christmas season of 1880, Edison displayed a strand of electric lights outside his lab in Menlo Park, New Jersey.
Passersby on a nearby train would have been among the first to witness what would become a defining trend in the way America celebrates Christmas. Each year, this Christmas tradition is celebrated at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates.
Before the tour of the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, you will enjoy a meal from a special menu created just for your group at Prawnbrokers Restaurant.

On the day of your trip we have several Pick-Up Locations throughout Manatee, Sarasota & Charlotte Counties for you to drive to and park your car. We will pick you up at one of these locations and drop you back off there when your tour has ended. You can pick the location that is most convenient for you.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off times Vary based on your destination and we will give you those times when you call to book your fun All Around tour!
